Amanda Morgan is the President and CEO of Morgan Training and Coaching, a consulting firm specializing in organizational development, corporate training and coaching. Ms. Morgan has over fifteen years of experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies, the non-profit sector, Internet start-up firms and companies in the entertainment industry from around the world – including Europe, Canada and the Far East. Ms. Morgan is also co-President and co-CEO of Crystal Clear Communications, a company that specializes in communication skills and presentation skills training for corporations. She has trained and consulted with business executives and professionals in the areas of communication skills, presentation skills, executive coaching, leadership, influence, project team training, stress management, general management skills and goal attainment. She specializes in helping people to realize their professional and personal goals, and she is often involved in larger organizational transformation while coaching the senior members in organizations. Ms. Morgan is known for her dynamic, energetic, interactive workshops, which she designs, develops, and facilitates. Her main focus is in the area of communication skills, presentation skills and influence. Ms. Morgan has vast experience coaching and training at investment banks including Goldman Sachs and UBS. Ms. Morgan maintains strategic alliances with a number of select boutique consulting firms. She is a senior seminar leader for Lifedesigns, an intensive leadership and empowerment program for executive women. She is also a senior lead trainer, consultant and coach for Ridge Associates, Bregman Partners and Brandon Partners, firms that specialize in improving human performance and communication skills for fortune 500 companies. Finally, Ms. Morgan is a senior executive coaching consultant for Lurie Executive Development. Ms. Morgan is certified to teach a myriad of courses including Situational Self-Leadership, People Styles, Presentation Skills, and People Skills. For the past 6 years, Ms. Morgan’s work has been focused in banks. At Goldman Sachs working with Bregman Partners, Ms. Morgan was one of a few key people who rolled out a new performance management system in the entire IT area. This project entailed training and coaching all employees on competencies and performance development plans. In addition, Ms. Morgan had several executive coaching assignments. During her time at Goldman, she designed, developed and delivered presentation skills classes and also taught Harvard Negotiation Skills and Strategic Self Leadership. Finally, at Goldman, Ms. Morgan taught Conflict Resolution for an in-tact team off-site and taught a firm wide coaching class with follow up individual coaching for specific high potential employees. Ms. Morgan is also known for her work in women's leadership. Recently, she presented workshops on networking at the UBS women’s leadership conference at the Waldorf Astoria. At UBS, Ms. Morgan is also known for designing, delivering, and developing communication, presentation skills and influence classes which have proved to be some of the firm’s most popular classes. In addition, she coaches senior executives in the area of communication and presentation skills. In the non-profit sector, Ms. Morgan has significant experience working in both academia and social service organizations. She developed and edited course materials for the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor. She also implemented a number of training and organizational development initiatives for the New York State Department of Social Services. Prior to starting Morgan Training and Coaching, Ms. Morgan spent six years with the SYDA Foundation as a worldwide training and organizational development consultant and event coordinator. The Foundation is a large, diversified non-profit foundation with charitable and educational functions in 650 subsidiaries throughout the world. She also served as an account executive at Rubenstein Public Relations and was the public relations manager and spokesperson for the New York City Marathon and the New York Road Runners Club.
A graduate of New York University, Ms. Morgan was named as a recipient of the Founder's Day Award for Highest Honors. She also received a certificate in public relations from New York University, and she is a graduate of Corporate Coach University. Ms. Morgan lives on the upper West side of Manhattan with her husband and two children. |
